So earlier today I was washing dishes and had my headphones on. Footloose came on and I started singing and kind of dancing in place. My cat comes flying into the kitchen and stops and stares at me with this wide-eyed look on his face. I picked him up and started dancing with him, but he got pissed ‘cause my hands were wet. haha. Plus, I think I scared him with my singing. Poor kitty cat.
I am seriously on another music kick. I need some suggestions for tv and/or movie themes to put on my iPod. That’s what I am in the mood for. I already have 3 different versions of the Saw theme, so don’t suggest that. Anything else I’m open to. Remember, I love horror…and Disney films. haha. Suggestions?
I think my neighbors are having sex. I hear strange, womanly moaning coming through the walls. I live in a duplex, and even though the walls are insulated, I still hear them when they have their TV on or they’re fighting. Tonight’s the first night I’ve heard sexual sounds. haha.
So I still haven’t gotten a new library card or even the login info for the website. It was supposed to be here by today. Now I think I’m either going to have to call them(ugh) or go up to the library and ask about it(also ugh). Maybe I’ll just email them again and see if I get a response. If not, then I guess I’ll have to get over my aversion to dealing with people and find out just where my card is. I need to go check out books.
This banner leads to PrizeRebel. You do surveys and stuff to earn points, which you redeem for gift cards and stuff. BUT you have to be diligent about certain offers, because sometimes they don’t credit and will just spam you. Make up a bunch of random emails to use just for these offers so your main email isn’t being spammed. If you attempt download offers, USE SANDBOXIE SO YOUDON’T GET ADWARE. If you don’t know how to use sandboxie and want to sign up, learn how before doing so. I’ve never had issues with adware/spyware/viruses when using sandboxie and I always put in my cell phone number if it asks for a phone number because I never use that thing. Leaving it off means no annoying phone calls. haha. Also, if you can skip offers that come up when you do other offers, go for it. Like if something says “say yes or no to offers,” I always click no unless I absolutely have to say yes to one. This site does take some getting used to, but it’s worth it.
These are all the prizes I have redeemed since joining:
So my sister just posted on Facebook that her local news station was reporting that a woman PEPPER SPRAYED a crowd over a game deal. Not sure if it was video games or board games, but that’s CRAZY! Why the heck would you go all John Pike on people over some games? Black Friday has turned people into animals. *shakes head*

511. At Luna's wedding, the whole of the front row of seats was reserved for apparently no one. Harry went up to her at the end of the service. "Luna, who was meant to sit there?" Luna turned her glassy eyes on him. "Oh, they did sit there. In a spiritual way, I suppose," she said. She pointed out the seats one by one. "Right. That one's for my mother, those are for your parents because I think I would have liked them, that one is for Sirius, the one next to that is for Professor Lupin - they were friends, weren't they? - and that's for Tonks, then Fred Weasley, then Mad-Eye, then Professor Dumbledore, then Professor Snape. I hope they liked the wedding." She smiled and waved into what was seemingly empty space, before prancing off into the crowds. Harry had never felt so touched before.
I’m doing an english presentation about why young adults are interested in reading about a dystopian future, can you help me out by telling me what you like about the hunger games and similar books (divergent, the maze runner etc).
What do you think is appealing about those kinds of books?
If you’d like to answer, that would really help me out :)
I enjoy reading about the different takes on how the world could change in however many years. I like the suspense of wondering what horrific event could possibly happen next. Will a main character you’ve become attached to die? Will they side with the “bad” people and turn into a person you officially hate? How is it all going to end? I love stuff like that; the anticipation of hoping things will turn out, being taken on a crazy ride through insanity, then reaching the finale and feeling relieved, saddened, and anxious all at the same time. Knowing something like this could possibly happen one day also intrigues me.
Day 10: Would you run away if you lived in Tally’s world?
Most definitely. I don’t know if I could survive in the woods/ruins/Smoke/whatever, but if there were others out there to help me out, I think I could manage. **SPOILER** I’d rather be ugly and have my own mind than be pretty and complacent.
